Quite the Conundrum

issue. Can you
believe you’ve
been putting up
with me (for
some reason, no
one ever minds
“putting up” with Carol) for 14 years? We’re a pretty loyal group at
SFHN&HR, we still have the same design/editorial staff, Stuart Web has print-
ed more than 3 million newspapers since our very first issue in 2004 despite
hurricanes, power outages, floods, and maybe a few times our very late trans-
missions … and we’ve never missed a deadline.
And much like our 47 years of marriage, Carol and I have managed to con-
struct a business wholly dependent upon having two completely different, yet
complementary (we think) personalities and array of skills. We really are the
epitome of “yin and yang.” Where I have never met a person I couldn’t inter-
act with, Carol is still waiting. Where I have never shied from public speaking

or human interaction, Carol is still waiting. And where I have never thought

According to one of Carol’s many signs that decorate her part of the office,
“The only thing more overrated than natural childbirth, is the joy of owning
your own business.” (Or in our case, owning and operating SFHN&HR.) But,
seriously, we can both hardly believe we’ve been doing this for so many years
and do you know what the biggest takeaway has been? All of the friends, col-
leagues, and readers we’ve met along the way. Without all of you, well, I can’t
even begin to imagine. While other publications have come and gone, we’ve
tried to evolve and improve with every single issue. We’ve also introduced
CannabisNewsFlorida to the community, providing updated information and
MEDICCAL DIVISIONN resources to our readers on this nascent Florida industry. But most important,
we’ve tried to be responsive to all our readers, providing assistance, support
and a helping hand to the entire healthcare community. We are
ALWAYS just a phone call away.
