                                  First, I want to thank
                                everyone who supported
                                our 12th Annual Healthcare

Miami and BDO to all the speakers, moderators and
attendees … thank you. The event was both an educa-
tional and financial success and we have learned for (l-r) Jaime Caldwell, President, SFHHA; Jonathan Foster,
next year not to confuse presentation space with (l-r) David Wagner, Market President, Kindred Healthcare,

But this year is far from over! On July 13th at the Circ Division, FBI; Lincoln Mendez, CEO, South Miami Hospital, SFHHA; Gino Santorio, COO, Broward Health
Hotel in Hollywood, we are sponsoring an educational SFHHA Board of Director.
program entitled, “Pricing Transparency and Strategy”.
This program is intended to provide interactive discussion on the issue of pricing
transparency in healthcare. Pricing has become a favorite topic of both our state and
national leaders. To hear them tell it, it is as easy as posting a menu at a local fast-food
restaurant! We have a great group of presenters, moderators, and speakers. As an
additional bonus, Donna Shalala will provide our closing keynote, where she will
attempt to bring together the day’s discussions and will also talk about the next steps
        in the road to transparency.
Then on September 12 at the Signature Grand, we will be hosting a full day pro-
gram that will look at the future of healthcare and market disruption/innovation.
Our SFHHA calendar for summer, fall and winter is now available on our website
(www.sfhha.com), so please take a few minutes and see what other events we have
scheduled for the remainder of 2018.
