You Don’t Choose To Be A Hero,
You Just Become One
The definition of a hero is someone who is admired for their noble qualities
and achievements. However, in many cases, their heroic acts go unnoticed
because heroes do what they do, without expecting praise.
That’s why at Jackson Health System, we would like to take this
opportunity to recognize Hansel Tookes III, MD, MPH,
for his dedication and commitment to reducing HIV
and hepatitis C infections in our community.
We also recognize Ana Rodriguez, RN, RRT, who has
helped save the lives of our tiniest premature babies,
while providing their families with unmatched compassion.
To all of this year’s nominees and to the caregivers
who go beyond boundaries to help others, we salute you.
