Jupiter Medical Center 2017-2018 Board and Officers
Names New CEO Installed for Lee Health Auxiliaries
Jupiter Medical Center is pleased to announce Donald
McKenna will become the organization’s new President and
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 2018.
McKenna currently serves as the President and CEO of St.
Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA.
This is a return to Palm Beach County for McKenna. He
began his career in the early 1990’s as a Director at Palm Donald McKenna
Beach Gardens Medical Center. He went on to serve as Chief
Operating Officer of North Ridge Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. In all, McKenna
has more than 26 years of progressive and diverse health care experience, including
serving as administrator and Chief Operating Officer of Wuesthoff Medical Center in
Melbourne, FL.
McKenna earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as his mas-
ter’s degree in public administration from Long Island University in Brookville, New
York. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and serves on
the Metro Hospitals Governing Council of the American Hospital Association.

C. Urquhart is the new chief operating officer at Delray
Medical Center. The Lee Health Auxiliaries, including Cape Coral Hospital Auxiliary, Gulf Coast

Karen Davis, a Senior Director of Alvarez and Marsal, a Mary Callaway, Treasurer

by the IRMC Board of Directors. Davis will take the helm of Jim Andrews, President

Broward Health Welcomes New
AVP of Benefits and Wellness
Broward Health welcomes Jennifer S. Cohen as its
Associate Vice President of Benefits and Wellness.
Cohen has extensive experience in employee benefits. She
was most recently the Director of Benefits for Memorial
Healthcare System. Prior to that she spent 10 years at the
University of Miami as the Executive Director of HR-
Benefits. At the University, she oversaw all aspects of benefits
for faculty, staff and students and led the group that launched Jennifer S. Cohen
two onsite health and wellness clinics for employees.
Cohen earned bachelor’s degrees from both the University of Florida and Florida
International University. She is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Certified
Employee Benefits Specialist designation.
