West Kendall Baptist Hospital

Family medicine physician Douglas Inciarte, M.D., has
been named program director of the West Kendall Baptist
Hospital – Florida International University Family
Medicine Residency program. Dr. Douglas Inciarte
Dr. Inciarte comes to Baptist Health South Florida from
the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), where he served as the family
medicine clinic director and was associate professor of family medicine. A graduate of
the medical school of Universidad del Zulia, Venezuela, Dr. Inciarte completed a fam-
ily medicine residency at UNMC, where he also served as chief resident. In addition,
he holds a master’s degree in medical management from The Heinz College of
Information Systems and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University.
Since 2011, Dr. Inciarte served as the director for the UNMC College of Medicine’s
