Up and Under
Up, up, up, we go so high,
Under the umbrella, staying dry.
Uncle Uday plays the ukulele,
Under the sun, we dance so gaily!
Up the hill and under the tree,
Ugly duckling swims in the sea.
Up comes a unicorn, white and bright,
Under the moon, it glows at night.
Up in the sky, birds fly free,
Under the waves, fish swim with glee.
Up and under, round we go,
Until it's time to sleep-oh no!
'
This playful rhyme helps young learners explore words beginning with 'U' while reinforcing the \
concepts of 'up' and 'under.' Through rhythm and repetition, children build vocabulary and I
phonemic awareness while engaging with nature, animals, and imagination. Encourage
movement-based actions-jumping up, ducking under, or mimicking animals-to make learning :
interactive. Using props like an umbrella or a toy ukulele can further enhance engagement and
understanding. _,,, I
