students remained silent. The teacher asked each and every student but no
one replied . When the teacher asked Nakul, he named Aakash. Though
Aakash had not broken the glass pane, yet he got punishment.
Actually, the glass pane was broken by Vibhor. But when Aakash was
accused of the fault, Vibhor kept silent. He could not immediately gather
courage to accept his fault.
But Vibhor continued to think about the incident even at home. He could
not sleep at night. Next day when he came to school he told the teacher,
“Sir, the glass pane of the window was broken by my ball. I am sorry for my
mistake. I beg your pardon sir.”
The teacher praised the boy's courage. The principal praised Vibhor in the
school assembly.
We should also follow the rules of good manners with neighbours , teachers
and elders. Our language should be polite and respectful. Above all, we
should be sincere enough to accept our mistakes.
