A group of words which makes complete sense is called a sentence .
Let us know something about a sentence.
A sentence is a combination of a doer and a doing word.
It gives complete meaning.
The doer may be a noun or pronoun.
The doing word is verb.
Now, read these sentences.
The bird is flying. The lion is roaring.
bird – noun lion – noun
is flying – verb is roaring – verb
Look at the examples.

2. What is your name?
3. Look at that child!
