Water WOW!
Water is very important for us. It helps us
in the formation of blood inside our body. It 96% of a raw cucumber
helps to throw out wastes from the body. and 84% of a raw apple
are water.
Water also carries food around the body.
We should drink at least 6-8 glasses of water daily.
Depending on their food habits, people can either be vegetarians or non-
vegetarians. Non-vegetarians cook and eat meat of animals like goat, fish,
hen and eggs. Vegetarians eat only plants and plant products. They do not
eat meat and eggs.
Meal
Meal is the food we eat at a fixed time everyday. We
eat three main meals in a day. They are breakfast, lunch
and dinner. In between, we may eat a small meal called
snack. We must eat our meals at fixed times and proper
gaps between meals help us to digest the food.
Healthy Eating Habits
0 Wash your hands before and after eating.
0 Always eat well cooked and fresh food.
0 Eat food at clean place.
0 Do not eat uncovered food. It might have germs that can make you sick.
0 Eat slowly and chew your food properly.
0 Eat and drink in clean plates and glasses.
0 Eat plenty of fruits and green vegetables. Avoid eating junk food.
0 Drink two glasses of milk everyday.
0 Eat meals at regular intervals and do not waste food.
0 Eat a little less than what you can. Never overeat.
! All living things need food to work and play.
! Energy–giving food gives us energy to work and play.
! Body–building food makes our body strong.
! Protective food protects us from many diseases.
