We wear school uniform, while going to school.
We wear a comfortable dress while at home.

For example, girls wear a frock, skirt, top or
salwar-kameez and boys wear T-shirt and shorts

or shirt and trousers. We wear a night suit,
while going to bed.

We wear different types of clothes according to the seasons.

We wear cotton clothes in summer.
Cotton clothes absorb sweat from our

body and keep us cool on a hot day.

We wear woollen clothes in winter.
They do not let cold air pass through

them. They keep us warm.

We wear raincoats and gumboots when it rains. They
protect us from getting wet. Sometimes we also use

umbrellas to protect ourselves from rain.

! We live safely in our house.
! Our house protects us from heat, cold, rain, storm, thieves and wild
animals.

! Permanent houses are very strong and they do not need any repair for a
long time.
! Temporary houses are not very strong. Mostly temporary houses can be
seen in rural areas and villages.

! Clothes cover our body and protect us from heat, cold, rain, dust and
insects.
! We wear cotton clothes in summer season.
