Preface

We are delighted to present Lambent – A Perfect Semester Course for Nursery to Class 5, a though ully
designed and me culously curated series that lays a strong founda on for bright beginnings in a child’s
educa onal journey. Spanning 9 books at the Founda onal Level and 6 books at the Preparatory Level, this
comprehensive course encompasses the core subjects of English, Mathema cs, Environmental Studies (EVS),
and General Knowledge, ensuring a well-rounded and balanced approach to early educa on.
The Lambent series is though ully aligned with the principles and recommenda ons of the Na onal
Curriculum Framework for School Educa on, 2023 (NCF 2023). Designed to cater to the diverse and evolving
needs of primary learners, it focuses on making learning a joyful, meaningful, and engaging experience. The
content is cra ed with simplicity and a child-friendly approach, breaking down complex concepts into
relatable, easy-to-understand ideas that promote effec ve learning and reten on.
