can't help but I've noticed that you often visit my home, and I've never had
the chance to visit yours. It makes me feel like our friendship is one-sided."
The eagle, surprised by the tortoise's frankness , recognised his
mistake. He was so busy enjoying the tortoise's kindness that he didn't think
about how it might have made his friend feel. The eagle sincerely
apologised, "I'm truly sorry, dear friend tortoise. You are right; I have been
selfish. Please forgive me. Let's visit my nest today.
With that, the eagle and the tortoise flew to the eagle's nest. The
tortoise was amazed by the breathtaking view from the treetop and the cozy
nest that the eagle had built. The eagle shared his food with the tortoise.
From that day forward, the eagle learned the importance of being a
true friend. He started inviting the tortoise to his home regularly , and their
friendship grew even stronger , now based on equality and kindness.
