Spices : We add spices to our food to give it taste, colour and smell.

            Some  common  spices  are  mustard  seeds  (rai),  cumin  seeds  (jeera),
            cardamom (elaichi), red chillies and coriander (dhania).

                                            Neem and mint have medicinal value.


            Oil : We get oil from the seeds of some plants. Mustard, groundnut and

            sunflower are some of them.

                            !  We get many things from plants like food, fruit, spices, dry fruits,
                                cereals,  pulses,  oil etc.
