The next day, Alak acted sick, and the farmer let him rest. But he made
Borak work even harder with Palak. Borak quickly realised his mistake. He
overheard the farmer saying that Alak might be sold to the butcher soon. Borak
told this to Alak.
Alak got scared and decided to work hard from then on. The farmer was
impressed with Borak's wisdom and didn't send Alak to the butcher.

Being clever is good, but being honest and working hard is even better.
