What is Urinary
Incontinence?
Urinary incontinence is the inability
to control your bladder. As a result,
you may leak urine with activities
such as running or jumping or you
may experience a strong and sudden
urge to urinate and are unable to
make it to the bathroom in time.
Types of Incontinence:
• Stress Incontinence is the
involuntary loss of urine with
physical activity, such as coughing,
laughing, sneezing and jumping.
• Urge Incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine in
the presence of a strong and sudden urge to urinate.
• Mixed Incontinence is a combination of stress and
urge incontinence.
