Helpful Hints to Try
• Allow your picky eater to explore and play
with their food. This will allow your child to
experience different textures through “touch”.
• Use a food chopper to grind up as many
foods the family eats as possible. They may
tolerate the texture better and begin to get
use to new tastes.
• Once you find a food that the child likes,
try introducing similar foods. For example,
if the child likes pizza, try making one on an
English muffin.
• Give your child as much control as possible.
