What Occupational Therapy Can Do
If You Need Further Help

Occupational Therapy services can address
both picky eating and problem feeding. The
problem may be sensory related or just lack
of exposure to new and different foods. An
Occupational Therapist (OT) can integrate
parents into the sessions to train them for
successful feeding situations during mealtimes
at home. OT’s use a variety of methods to
introduce new foods, textures and tastes into
a child’s diet.
Sessions can be
individual or in a
group setting.
Therapists can help
children to increase
their food repertoire
while making
eating fun.
