On-time Arrival and Attendance
Being on time is required.
Plan your mornings accordingly and give yourself plenty of time to allow your child to get ready in the mornings without being rushed and stressed.
The Montessori Method considers every detail for the success of your child. Our beautiful morning routine is planned for the successful transition of the child from home to school. Each child is greeted with a warm smile, a handshake, and a group session to start the day.
Late arrivals take away from this meaningful social interaction, impact your child’s academic progress, and may impact continued enrollment at Alden. Future schools assess tardies and absences when evaluating potential candidates for their school. Absences and tardies are records requested from these schools.
Health Considerations
With fall comes seasonal illnesses that children routinely get as part of building their immune system. We monitor alert parents of illnesses such as COVID-19, RSV, flu, strep, pink eye, etc.
Please read the handbook for policies and procedures when your child falls ill or needs medication.
