1 SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Simple present tense is a type of tenses that has two
main uses. First, we can use the simple present tense to
tell an action that is happening right now, or an action
that is happening regularly, which is why it can be called
as present indefinite. The forms that are used in the
simple present tense are depending on the object
(person) that is used in the sentence. We can add s or es
to the end of a verb depending on the object that is used.
The Form of Simple Present Tense
Simple present tense has two formulas. The first one is
called verbal and is used when there is a verb, while the
second one is called nominal and is used when there is
no verb. Instead, be (am, is, are) needs to be added in this
second formula.
