Universal Itinerary

• I suggest breaking Universal Studios park into 2 days

I also suggest ending your first day in Islands of Adventure with the Harry Potter Experience and
beginning the next day in Universal Studios with the remainder of the Harry Potter Experience – this
makes the experience more cohesive and interesting.

You do not have park-to-park tickets required to ride Hogwart’s Express between the 2 parks so this
is the next best way to do the Harry Potter experience.

I’ve developed the itinerary to help you maximize your time but you might prefer to do more walking
based on wait times and your travel party’s preferences.
The night prior to your park day determine which attractions are MUST DO for you on each
day and do those FIRST. You have 5 days so you can come back and do the attractions that
are not as important to you later.

Here are my suggestions for 3 days – you can definitely extend this with 5 days.
Detailed itineraries follow.
 Day 1 – Islands of Adventure and end with the parade at 7pm
 Day 2 – Universal Studios
 Day 3 – MORE Universal Studios
 Day 4 – go back to either park and re-do favorites

Day 1 – Islands of Adventure – you should be able to do most of this in 1 day if you arrive early, get
to parking lot by 8am so you can park, print your tickets from a kiosk and enter right at 9am.

 From Port of Entry – turn left to Marvel Super Hero Island and explore this area first
 Explore Toon Lagoon
 Explore Jurassic Park – lots to do here for dinosaur lovers
 Skip The Wizarding World of Harry Potter if you have time - you’ll come back later
 Go to Suess Landing and enjoy all the fun there
 Head back to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade and ride some rides and
watch the castle light show which begins at dusk and runs every 10 minutes or so
This is a long day – you might want to skip either Jurassic Park or Seuss Land to do on another day
so you can end in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with the Christmas light show at the castle.
