3. Priming:

In order to ensure that the sealant will adhere to absorptive and porous substrates, a silicone primer (Art.-No. 6830 8299) must be used.

4. Smoothing the Joint:

In order to achieve a pliable and attractive joint, the sealant can be smoothed out with a smoothing agent before a skin develops. Before the
sealant's skin is fully formed, it is essential to ensure that no dirt ends up on the joint surface and that the joint is not mechanically stressed.
Don't use an alkaline smoothing agent!
After the smoothing process is complete, immediately clean off any excess smoothing agent.
