Window Sealant

• Solvent-free firm special-polymere-paste for adhesion of FÖRCH
window tapes
• For the secure connection of window tape to the structure as per
RAP and EnEV 2002
• Certified by the Institute for Material Testing NRW
• Smooths out uneven surfaces
Applications:
• Suitable for surfaces such as brickwork, concrete, porous concrete,
plaster and wood
• Suitable for metal, wood and plastic windows, both for new buildings
as well as renovations
Processing instructions:
• Adhesive surfaces have to be clean, dry, free of ice and frost, stable
and grease-free
• Very large cavities or recesses in the structure have to be filled in
beforehand
• We recommend a primer made up from a mixture of window sealant
with 3 parts water for heavily porous and priming surfaces
• Let primer evaporate/dry
• Apply adhesive as 10 mm thick seam without any gaps on the
surface
• Press on the tape - do not press to hard
• Consider movement loop
• Adhesions are only fully resilient once fully dry
• During and after hardening, rain and wetness may have a negative
effect on performance when using dispersion based sealants
• In case of doubt, make a contact test

Shelf life: 12 months
(cool, dry, frost-free)
