Step Adhesive

• 2-component polyurethane expansion adhesive for fast and safe
step mounting
• It is also suitable for the adhesion of door and window sills
• Acts sound-absorbing and can be loaded after only approx. 20
minutes
• Safety adhesion of various materials, fills intermediate spaces with a
fine-porous foam structure
• With one cartridge up to 2 step fixations are possible
Applications:
• Adhesion without visible connection on wood, stone, metal, plaster
and gas concrete, linoleum and PVC
Processing instructions:
• The contact surfaces must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease as
well as free of loosen parts. Prime plaster and gas concrete using the
Primer. In case of steps which are coated with PVC or linoleum, re-
move waxes and oils - and grind the cleaned surface. Painted steps
must be ground to get a solid compound the surface.
• Adjust the steps, window and door sills to the spacer. The spacer
enables an expansion-seam of approx. 5-15 mm.
• Cut off both tops of the cartridge using a knife and put on the mixing
nozzle. For narrow or deep seams use the small extension tube.
• Insert into customary dual-cylinder-gun and apply the adhesive
• The application of the adhesive is possible in two different ways:
- remove the pre-adjusted structure component. Apply lengthwise or
crossways as stripes and make sure to have a distance between
the stripes from approx. 8 cm. Immediately re-put the workpiece
onto the spacer
- bring the adhesive in the expansion seam between workpiece and
underground. Make sure to keep the distance of approx. 8 cm
between the adhesive stripes.
• Structure components such as steps, window and door sills should
be loaded with 2 weights each 12 kg per spacer (approx. 80 kg/m²)
