 Monitoring of station cleanliness through CCTVs is being

done for better performance.

 Passenger awareness announcements like littering
penalties etc. are made through PA systems at stations for

better awareness & results.

 Monitoring of NGT Verifiable indicators for all the stations
under NGT monitoring (NSG-1 to NSG-4 Category stations)

over the division is done regularly.

 As per NGT directives, consent to operation (CTO) and

consent to Establishment (CTE) has been obtained from
SPCB for all NGT stations (10-stations under EnHM wing + 5-

stations under Commercial Branch).

4.0 ACHIEVEMENTS:

4.1 Green Certification of Railway Stations:

Hyderabad Railway Station is certified with Platinum Rating in
December,2022 from M/s.CII-IGBC valid for 3 years. Platinum

Rating certification for Secunderabad Railway Station is under
the process of renewal.

4.2 Provision of Compost Machines as a part of NGT directives.

At 9-stations ie HYB, KZJ, PRLI, BIDR, VKB, BMT, WL, RDM & KMT
stations Compost Machine of 50 Kg capacity is available.

At the remaining 5-stations ie MABD, TDU, BDCR, LPI & MCI

stations Compost Machine of 50 Kg capacity are kept ready
and get commissioned by supplier shortly.
