Distel Hitch
The Distel Hitch is one of the best slide and grip knots that are really
reliable when it comes to climbing. It’s also able to support critical amounts
of load, and could be used for item inspection while you’re out!

Instructions:
1. Get a lanyard and make sure there’s an eye at both ends.
2. Now, get the longer part of the lanyard and have it wrapped around
the climbing rope.
3. After doing so, make two half hitches. This would be easy if you
have Step 2 done right.
4. Work your way around and make sure you reach the top half of the
hitches.
5. Pull tight after balancing lengths and then go and attach the
carabiner.
