I& Introducing the Executive
t’s a great pleasure to be able to introduce a new group of enthusiastic volunteers keen to work with alumni to help them engage with a new generation of students, with the College and with each other. They are: Lauren Nunziata ‘12, a business student at Ivey; Marc Rutledge ‘10, a commercial real estate professional in Toronto; Jess Siegel ‘07, an MBA candidate at Wilfrid Laurier University; Cameron Smith ‘04, an investment advisor in Toronto; and myself Phil Chambers ‘00, a lawyer in Toronto. We are always looking for new alums to join and assist our efforts, particularly outside the Greater Toronto Area.
The group’s present focus is on supporting NJC’s efforts in terms of planned events and recruitment, particularly with the exciting 60th anniversary celebrations later in 2016, but a number of new initiatives are underway. These include linking new NJC graduates with older students at their chosen universities, a NJC career mentorship program which pairs recent graduates with alumni professionals in various fields, and a number of networking events. As event momentum gathers pace, we would love to expand their reach outside of Toronto, elsewhere across Canada and beyond. If you can assist us in making this a reality, please get in touch!
