1. Clearing and Settlement System: Bank Indonesia operates a clearing and settlement
system (SKNBI) to facilitate interbank fund transfers, including interbank transfers
involving cashless payments.
2. National Payment System (SPN): SPN is the core infrastructure that supports cashless
payment transactions in Indonesia. Bank Indonesia plays a role in developing and
managing the SPN.
3. Electronic Cards: The use of electronic cards, such as debit and credit cards, has grown
rapidly in Indonesia. Bank Indonesia regulates the use and security of these electronic
cards.
4. Digital Payment Services: Bank Indonesia also supports the development of digital
payment services, such as digital wallets and payment applications that enable cashless
