Implementation of non-cash payment system by bank Indonesia

Bank Indonesia's implementation of a cashless payment system encompasses various initiatives
and infrastructure to facilitate cashless transactions in Indonesia. Some important aspects of this
               undertaking involve:

                   1. Clearing and Settlement System: Bank Indonesia operates a clearing and settlement
system (SKNBI) to facilitate interbank fund transfers, including interbank transfers
                       involving cashless payments.
                   2. National Payment System (SPN): SPN is the core infrastructure that supports cashless
payment transactions in Indonesia. Bank Indonesia plays a role in developing and
                       managing the SPN.
                   3. Electronic Cards: The use of electronic cards, such as debit and credit cards, has grown
rapidly in Indonesia. Bank Indonesia regulates the use and security of these electronic
                       cards.
                   4. Digital Payment Services: Bank Indonesia also supports the development of digital
payment services, such as digital wallets and payment applications that enable cashless
                       transactions through smart phones.
                   5. Regulation and Supervision: Bank Indonesia has an important role in regulating and
supervising the operation of cashless payment systems to ensure the security and
                       reliability of transactions.

Bank Indonesia continues to develop infrastructure and regulations to support the growth of
cashless payments in the country to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the payment
               system.
