look at your cell phone. Torah means instruction and it is good to read because it raises
our spirits. Each day we can increase our self-refinement of character and our spiritual
refinement to grow closer to G-d. This quarantine can give us another perspective on
things in our lives. Many of us are working from home in addition to helping our children
with remote learning. Parents and grandparents, take some time to teach the children some
Jewish education. We are cooking more meals, too. Remember to keep kosher. "The most
important ingredient you can put in your cooking is love". Learn a new skill or language.
We should find different ways to do the same things. You can call people on the phone
instead of texting them. Talk to the people you are quarantined with rather than watch tv.
The rivers are cleaning up, vegetation is growing, and the air is less polluted and fresher
with no car fumes during this quarantine. The Earth is at rest for the first time in many
years. We should act with loving kindness and respect toward others. No Lashon Hara.
Tell the truth. Take care of yourself and others. You don't have to get sick before you can
get better. At any point in your life, you can turn around for the better. This quarantine
should mark a final end to all our troubles and start the beginning of our redemption.
Hindsight is 20/20 and we are in the year 2020.
