 Coefficient : symbol [number] containing a variable

 Constants: numbers that do not contain a variable

 Term: part of the algebraic form separated by arithmetic operations, namely:

                       1) Similar terms are terms in algebraic form that have the same variables, so they can
                          be added or subtracted.

                       2) Dissimilar terms are terms in algebraic form that have different variables.

                  Example

               Consider the algebraic form 5x + 3y + 8x – 6y + 9.

In algebraic form, the terms like and dissimilar tribes are also known, here are the explanations

Terms are variables and their coefficients or constants in algebraic form separated by the

operation of the sum or difference.
               a. The first term is an algebraic form that is not connected by the operation of sum or

               difference. Example: 3x, 4a2, –2ab, ...

               b. Term two is an algebraic form that is connected by a sum or difference operation. Example:
               a2 + 2, x + 2y, 3x2 – 5x, ...

               c. A triple term is an algebraic form connected by two addition or difference operations.

               Example: 3x2 + 4x – 5, 2x + 2y – xy, ...
