PROPERTIES
GEOFAT LCA is an oil developed to provide leather with high levels of
so ness, silky grain, fullness and lightness. Its balanced composi on
provides uniform penetra on and distribu on throughout the leather
structure. In addi on to excellent adhesion to the fibers, GEOFAT LCA
can be applied in different stages, whether in the pre-greasing
process, during retanning or in the main greasing process, as a sole
greasing agent or combined with other oils from the GEOFAT line.
The percentage of use depends on the desired degree of so ness,
ranging from 3 to 10% of the reduced weight. GEOFAT LCA makes it
possible to obtain ar cles with uniform and fine grain breakage when
dry-finished.
