PROPERTIES
GEOFAT GSN is a synthetic fatliquor recommended for the protection
and softening of leathers in different stages. Its chemical composition
gives protection and lubrication to the leather fibers, both on chrome
or other kind of tanning. .
For retanning, GEOFAT GSN can be used in several process stages,
such as in acid washings, re-chroming, during the addition of other
retanning agents, or also combined in the main fatliquoring.
Using GEOFAT GSN in tanning stage, it is recommended to apply from
0.5 up to 1% over the pickled weight. .
In the retanning stage it can be used in any quantity, depending of the
desired effect.
