Learn Hawaiian Hula Basics
Instructor: Glady Kama Lee
Glady is the alaka' i of Halau Napuaokamokihanaoha, taught
under Kumu Luana Rivera Palacio. To quote educator and
author, Dr. Amy Ku'uleialoha Stillman: "In Hawaiian culture,
the hula is more than just dancing.”
The movements and gestures performed by dancers are just
the surface." With permission from her Kumu, Glady will
teach you basics in hula dance and mele.
