Ston walls are the largest walls in Europe. On the walls there are about 40 towers and 5 fortresses.  The
         construction of the Ston walls began in the 16th century.  They were built to protect the city from attack. After

         the Great Wall of China, it is the longest wall in the world. The walls of Dubrovnik surround the entire old

         town.  The walls were built in the 13th century, all to keep the city safe from danger from the sea.  The walls

         consist of 5 beautiful fortresses

         The cuisine of Dalmatia and the islands comes down to light cooking of food (mostly in water or grilled) and a

         lot of fish, olive oil, vegetables and wild herbs Fresh sea fish is grilled, cooked or marinated; then there are

         mollusks (squid, cuttlefish, octopus), crabs (shrimp, lobsters) and shellfish (mussels, oysters, mussels)
         cooked in fish soup or as a risotto. Of the meat dishes, prosciutto is without a rival - pork leg smoked and

         dried in the bora wind, served with dry, mostly goat cheese and black olives and capers.Typical Dalmatian

         desserts are simple. The most common ingredients include Mediterranean fruits, dried figs, raisins, almonds,

         honey.
