ROADRUNNER CAR CLUB Inc. SPECIAL GENERAL
MEETING SUNDAY 19th MAY, 2024
35 Members attended the Special General Meeting with 6 Proxies received... also a number of apologies for absence.
The President, Ken McGregor, opened the meeting explaining that there was only one item on the Agenda which was to adopt – or reject – modifications, amendments and removals to the original Roadrunner Car Club Inc Constitution which was written at the Club’s inception 5 years ago.
The proposals had been circulated to members before the meeting and questions had been invited. The President also invited any comments or questions from members present: there were none forthcoming.
The President then put the proposed, updated Constitution to a vote of hands and the vote was carried unanimously. The meeting was informed that the new, revised document would be sent to the Office of Fair Trading as required by Queensland law.
The meeting was then closed, and there was general conversation over morning tea. The members dispersed about 11.30 while some stayed on for a sociable lunch.
