Roadrunner Car Club hosted an event for the
Distinguished Gentlemen's Drive
on Sunday 26th September 2021 Pre-‘80s cars only !

to ALL the drivers and fund raisers.
‘The Noosa Drive’ was one of many fundraising drives held around Australia and the world in support of Men’s Health.
The Noosa Event was organised by our club and proved to be a very successful rally and fundraising event – one of the most successful fundraising DGD events in the world!!
Over 100 dressed-up participants in fifty classic cars took part in an enjoyable Rally starting out in Eumundi and passing through a swag of hinterland towns finishing at the ‘Gunabul Homestead’ in Gympie for a welcome lunchtime meal and drinks.
Prizes donated by Bowdens Car Care were awarded for different categories and Autobarn had provided each car entered with a goodie bag.
The day was a huge success thanks to the many volunteers who helped out with all the registration pop-ups, cheer points, hand-outs, number plates and so much more.
A big thanks goes to Tony Slattery for planning the Rally – he has had many years of rallying experience and this was a good one! ‘The Noosa Drive’ also had it’s own back-up mechanic, Tony from GSI mechanical in Gympie, who donated his time and came to the rescue of Andrew Little and family with their Pontiac which had cut-out entering the homestead.
It really was such a great day and we are all looking forward to doing the same next year for sure!
