DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMANS’ DRIVE
Classic cars and elegant style, uniting for men’s health in
support of Movember.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive is a celebration of classic style. The 2024 event takes
place on Sunday, September 29th. It is an on-road motoring fundraising event, uniting classic
cars built 40 years or older, encouraging drivers and passengers around the world to dress
dapper and drive for men’s health. All funds raised are invested in vital research and programs
for prostate cancer and men’s mental health by Movember.
Tony and Debbie Slattery have volunteered to arrange this year’s DGD for the Roadrunner Club. Please contact them with all enquiries

To enrol for the Drive you must go to their website – you cannot enrol on the RCC website www.gentlemansdrive.com/
Start @ Noosa :: End @ Gympie :: With a scenic drive through Maleny.
The DGD organisers do not allow us to publish the route in advance but it's approx 200ks long. Refreshments and a coffee stop available with lunch at the finish.
More details will be sent to members registered for the event via email in due course and a general update published in September Beep Beep.
For members who do not have a pre-1984 Classic Car to participate in the event, we would really appreciate your help in running the event as we will have quite a number of ‘checkpoints’ along the route where participants will need to stop and have their ‘passport’ stamped to win prizes at the finish.

We are also hoping to host a
‘Fashion Workshop’ prior to the event to help members/participants find some suitable clothing to wear on the day.
