DAXTON BENNICK
Daxton Bennick already has a pair of Loretta Lynn’s titles to his name after only competing in the 65cc class full time for one season. The North Carolina native has landed on the overall podium three times at the Ranch, including his two victories, and he’s one of the favorites to do it yet again in 2017. The Orange Brigade rider is no stranger to the spot- light -- in fact, he normally thrives under the pressure that it creates as he’s produced some of the best results in his career on the biggest stages of competition. Bennick has had a season to remember throughout 2017 thus far, kicking off the action at the Millcreek Spring classic with a pair of first place finishes in various 65cc classes as well as a second place overall in the 85cc (9-11) Limited class. The Team Dunlop Elite standout continued to dominate throughout the remainder of the spring nationals, putting together four more national titles between the Daytona RCSX and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. He made the trek down to Florida for the Gatorback Youth Regional and swept up the competition, putting his KTM on the top step of the podium in all three classes that he contested, giving himself the option of racing the KTM 85 at the Ranch. No matter which gate Bennick finds himself on when the action kicks off at the beginning of August, he’ll find himself as one of the main contenders for the title when the final checkered flag flies.
