>> The new member of the Rockstar Husqvarna team came to Minneapolis confident as ever on his new ride. Still getting used to his new team and not wanting to put too much pres- sure on himself Deano wanted to just focus on riding and aim for a top ten finish in the main event. Being the third fastest qualifier, Dean went into heat #1 ready to take charge. Wil- son came out swinging taking the hole shot. Battling against Tomac for 1st place in the beginning heat race, Wilson will settle back and end up in 3rd place. Earning a good gate pick, Dean stays focused as he heads on to the main event. Wilson had a terrible hole shot and was last out of the gate. Determined to get to the front Wilson charged on. Gaining 5 positions in the first five laps Wilson was well on his way to getting a top ten finish. Due to a misfortunate crash in lap 7 Dean fell to the back of the pack. Getting back on the saddle he pushed on picking off one rider at a time. During the last laps Stewart and Alessi were in Deans’ reach. Not being able to make a pack Wilson had to settle for 12th position at the US Bank Arena. Not the luck the new Rockstar Husqvarna rider wanted, but he’s confident that he’s going to improve come the next race no matter what.
