MARVIN MUSQUIN
Marvin Musquin’s 2016 outdoor season has been relatively quiet after three rounds. He hasn’t made much noise inside the top five but hasn’t plummeted outside of the top ten. He has been right in the mix each week but after a successful rookie campaign in Supercross I think we expected a little more
from the Frenchman. It looks like the wrist injury that slowed him down at the end of the supercross season is still doing its toll. But a good sign for the Red Bull KTM rider came in the second moto at Thunder Valley as he showed signs of his old self riding up to a strong fifth place finish. It was a great moto to build on as they headed into their one-week break and we can only imagine that Musquin will come back strong at High Point. He will be the lone KTM rider with Dungey out for the season and he will make his bid to be one of the contenders to knock Ken Roczen off his throne. Musquin has won two of the last three 250 races at High Point so maybe that winning experience there will help him move back up into the podium positions.
