Seely and Anderson headlined that group and each took their best shots at trying to pass Musquin
throughout the race but he held strong and would hold onto the second place position all the way to
the finish. It was a great ride from Musquin and he showed he can be a threat in the 450 class as well.
The second moto kicked off with Musquin starting in fourth place once again but this time he had immediate pressure from Tomac who would quickly drop him back to fifth. Musquin settled in back there and began to stalk Justin Barcia in fourth place. It took a few laps but ten minutes into the moto he would finally catch Barcia and make the pass to inherit position. From there Musquin put in quality laps without much pressure from anyone and would ride on to finish fourth in the moto. 2-4 moto scores for third overall have got to have Musquin and the Red Bull KTM team happy and looking forward to seeing if he can pull off a similar performance next weekend at Muddy Creek.
