The second moto was another wild one for the rookie. He was up in fifth in the first few corners but would get bumped around and then tip over. He got the green flag way back in twenty-third but he started charging. He flew all the way up to thirteenth at the halfway point and continued to make moves. He moved around Harrison for twelfth and kept pushing for the top ten. With five minutes to go
he had worked up to tenth and started putting pressure on Hampshire for fifth. He would wear him down and make the pass. Not satisfied yet, he went for Cianciarulo in eighth and made the pass on him as well with three laps to go. He would ride on to finish eighth in the moto putting together 5-8 moto scores. It was good enough for fifth overall but he has to be bummed knowing what could have been if he kept it on two wheels in the opening lap.
