Adam Cianciarulo was ready to get his season back on track in Pennsylvania. He looked strong in practice and put in a time good enough for 8th fastest. He got a decent start when 250 Heat 1 began.
He found himself inside the top ten and was sitting 9th by the end of lap two. He was doing everything he could to climb to a position he was capable of, but the High Point track was beating him. He lost a position to teammate Tonus and quickly after that, his other teammate, Forkner, passed him as well. Things went from bad to worse as Adam hit the ground hard and found himself brushing the Pennsylvania dirt off and trying to remount his Kawasaki as fast as possible. Fortunately, he got the bike going quickly and was able to salvage 10th by the time the checkers flew. With disappointment lurking over his head, Adam was ready to change things up in the next moto. He did just that when the gate dropped for 250 moto two as he jumped out to a commanding holeshot over the stacked field. With Jeremy Martin in toe, Adam was doing everything he could to keep him behind. On lap 4, Adam finally gave in to the chaos behind him and handed the lead to his teammate Savatgy. Quickly after, he lost another position to a hard charging Alex Martin and was now sitting in 3rd place. Adam looked to be riding extremely tight and continued to shuffle back as the moto went on. He was doing all he could to hang on and was sitting 8th place with three laps to go. Unfortunately, the High Point track got the best of him as he shuffled back even further by the end of the moto. He would take 10th and 11th for a 10th overall in Pennsylvania.
