A once minute concern for the KTM TLD team has now blossomed into a troublesome problem as the series shifts from indoor to out, and the temperatures begin to rise. Mitchell Oldenburg, a flying freckle of sorts, has been burning up both on and off the track. Scorching both laptime sheets and his frail, white pigment skin tone,
the Texas transplant has been searching for an aid in cooling down due to record-breaking heat indexes. Lo
and behold, the admirable work ethic and rising speed of Oldenburg caught the eyes of the Banana Boat sunscreen company. With their can’t miss orange tubes of sport protection, rumors are beginning to circulate of an incentive based deal linking the two parties together, podiums for free sunblock. The deal has enlightened Oldenburg to the utmost extent, and it may just be what’s needed to propel him to the top as the series heads to High Point.
