>> A beauty of the mechanism in this sport in which we call Supercross, is one of constant change of layouts and new track designs. Each week we are presented with a highly versatile track surface, providing a new challenge for the competition to conquer, along with an array of challengers vying for the highly touted crown of king. Josh Hansen has an immaculate ability to piece the track together like a puzzle beneath his hands, eagerly searching innovative ways to make each lap better than the last. With this course offering a bit of wide-open space, and turns to relish in a plethora of momentum, he knew that the entire gearbox may have to be addressed, if he wanted to cross the stripe on the podium
by night’s end. A veteran of the game, his style and persona is synonymous with pure natural talent; and the Anaheim 2 course was a platform for the Husqvarna ripper to display it. Each rhythm section was conquered with a bit of flare, never just simply completing each obstacle; he hovered near the ninth position for a good chunk of this event, battling with fellow elders of the class, Tyler Bowers, and Kyle Chisholm. With a trio like that, the racing offered plenty of experience and advanced changes of position; however, Josh kept the body cool, calm, and collected, eventually coming home with a solid ninth place finish.
