Just a few minutes in he blew past the Red Bull KTM rider moving himself into second with his eyes on
the prize. Closing the gap between him and Roczen, Tomac was looking strong on his Monster Energy
Kawasaki. After he caught Roczen he passed him through a turn and never looked back. Riding out the rest of the moto in first Tomac got himself another first place finish for the year. Going second and first, Tomac was able to get
first overall for the day getting a couple points back on Roczen.
