FREDRIK NOREN
Sitting in 17th place in the point standings after eight rounds, Fredrick Noren, the Switzerland native, has had quite the uphill climb thus far into the 2016 nationals. In the beginning, a last-minute deal saw Freddie on a new Rocky Mountain ATV Honda bike at the same time that Noren was testing for team Honda. Consequentially, Fredrik rides one bike during the week and his own on the weekend; same brand with
two completely opposite components. As a result, Noren has had a difficult time adjusting back and forth, unable to match the success he saw both in 2014 and 2015. Now reaching the final stretch of 2016 before the off-season, Freddie sits there in 17th with unwavering potential and some tough luck to overcome. What’s seem to hamper the #43 leading up to this point are his starts, causing the aforementioned uphill climb from the back of the pack. So far, Noren has done a good job at salvaging points and continues to push onward as he comes off a season-best tying 12th place overall in Millville for round eight. If Fredrik can get off the gate with some momentum and battle near the top ten early, his fitness and will power have the ability to carry him home.
