Unable to match the jump in moto two, Bloss started the final battle of the day outside the top twenty and found himself 20-seconds back on lap two. Searching for some of that moto one ambience, Benny made a quick move
around Cole Martinez a few minutes into the race. A couple minutes later and Bloss was blowing the doors of the riders in front of him, picking off six spots to hit 17th. There wasn’t anything to stop it either, as Benny had picked off two more spots in as many minutes to hit 14th. By the halfway mark, Bloss moved into 13th. Bloss got by Bowers for 12th shortly after and taking advantage of some downed riders, Benny found himself in 10th and still marched onwards to reach 9th by the end, to secure a 7th overall and his 4th top ten in a row. This dude is for real. And, by picking up a total of 28 points, Bloss moved into 10th in the standings, putting a cherry on top of another strong showing. Even more of an insight into what the rookie may bring for the next several years to come.
