BENNY BLOSS
The towering frame of rookie Benny Bloss seems to fit quite nicely on the 450 as the young professional jumped
straight to the big bikes following his impressive performance at Loretta Lynn’s last year. After making his debut
at the Ironman event in Indiana and racing both a 250 and 450 indoors earlier in 2016 it became apparent which
size was most fitting. Now, with eight outdoor rounds under his belt on the BTO SPORTS KTM bike, since joining the team in April ear- lier this year. we’re finally getting to see what the latest Horizon Award winner has to offer.
Coming off of three straight top ten performances in the last three rounds, you could say that all Bloss needed was a little bit of confidence to settle in with the premier class riders. With the recent success, it’s clear that with the confidence, Bloss needs to be up front early as the tour reaches the ninth stop in Washougal. If he gets the start, the long legs and wide elbows on the Orange #167 are serious threats and will be working to keep the streak alive up horsepower hill. Can he make it four in a row?
