JUSTIN BRAYTON
Justin Brayton’s 2016 outdoor season started with a lot of struggle. The veteran rider could not buy a start and
was putting himself in unfavorable positions early in races. It is
quite ironic because Brayton was reeling off holeshots all throughout
the supercross season. But he just wasn’t able to translate that ability to the outdoors until recent weeks. Also, his speed was just straight up not on par with the top riders at the beginning of the season. He did not look comfortable on his machine but now it looks like he and the BTO Sports team have things pointing in the right direction. He has finished ninth overall at three of the last four races with very consistent performances. He is now starting with regularity inside the top ten and that has made all the difference in the world with his results. His speed has also improved and it allows him to hunker down and hold his position up there. We’ll have to sit back and
see if he Brayton can keep his little hot streak alive this weekend at Washougal.
