Toni Elias left the third round of the 2017 MotoAmerica series at VIRginia International Raceway with a ten point lead at the top of the points standings despite being taken out of the first race, scoring only twenty points in total at the end of the weekend. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider’s unparalleled consistency is the driving force behind his championship charge so far this season as he’s been able to finish five out of
six races in first or second position. The Catalan native will have full support from his homestead at the fourth round at Road America as his entire family has joined him in Wisconsin to cheer him on. Elias landed on the podium in the second race of the weekend last year in Elkhart Lake, improving his chances of continuing the streak of podiums he’s accumulated throughout the season thus far. >>
